少儿英语学习绘本：瓶子里的妖怪吉妮The Genie in the Bottle

本期少儿英语学习绘本故事讲述的是一个渔夫钓鱼的时候，钓到了一个瓶子，渔夫打开瓶盖之后妖怪从里面钻了出来，妖怪扬言要吃掉渔夫，渔夫利用自己的聪明才智，又让妖怪回到了瓶子里。

Once upon a time, a fisherman went fishing.

很久很久以前，有一个渔夫去钓鱼。

He threw his nets again and again.

他一次又一次地撒网。

He caught slimy seaweed…

第一次，他捕到了黏糊糊的海草，

shiny shells…

第二次，是闪亮的贝壳，

and a smelly sock.

第三次，捞到了一只臭袜子。

Then, he caught something else.“A fish!”he cried.

突然，他捕到了一个很沉的东西，“是一条鱼！”他大喊道。

But it wasn’t.

但并不是。

It was an old bottle.

原来是一个旧瓶子。

He pulled out the stopper and looked in.

他把瓶盖打开，透过瓶口看到瓶底。

“Empty,”he sighed.

“原来是空的，”渔夫叹了一口气。

And he threw it away.

随手把瓶子扔掉了。

Suddenly, smoke poured out. The smoke turned into a huge face.

突然，瓶口冒出了一股浓烟。浓烟变成了一张巨大的脸。

“Help,”cried the fisherman.“A genie!”

“救命啊！”渔夫惊叫道。“是妖怪吉妮呀！”

The genie’s tummy rumbled.

吉妮的肚子咕噜噜地响。

“I’m hungry,”he growled.“I’m going to EAT you!”

吉妮用低沉的嗓音咆哮地说：“我好饿啊！我要吃掉你！”

“That’s not very kind,”said the fisherman.

“你真是太坏了。”渔夫说。

“I’m hungry,”shouted the genie.“I’ve been in that bottle for a long, long time.”

“我好饿啊，”鬼喊道，“我被关在那个瓶子里面太长时间了。”

the fisherman thought fast. I have to get him back in the bottle.

渔夫灵机一动。说道：“我要把这只鬼重新装回瓶子里。”

“You were inside this bottle?”he asked.

渔夫假装问：“你之前在这个瓶子里？”

“YES,”snapped the genie.

“当然！”吉妮回答道。

The fisherman laughed.

渔夫笑了。

“You’d never fit,”he said.

接着说：“你根本进不去。”

“Watch,”said the genie.

“不信你看！”吉妮说道。

He whooshed back in…

他嗖的一声飞回了瓶子里，

…and the fisherman pushed the stopper in hard.

渔夫赶紧把瓶盖用力盖严。

Then the fisherman went on fishing…

之后，渔夫悠然自得的接着钓鱼，

…and caught a tasty dish for dinner.

终于抓到了一条美味的鱼，当做晚餐吃掉了。
