【英语知识】interest的名词
interest作名词。
①意为“兴趣”时，常作不可数名词。常见短语show/ have interest in(doing)sth.，意为“对……表现出/有兴趣”。如：
She showed great interest in the meeting.
她对这次会议表现出极大的兴趣。
②意为“业余爱好”或“感兴趣的事”时，常作可数名词。如：
He has two great interests.One is sports and the other is music.
他有两大爱好：一个是体育，另一个是音乐。
拓展知识：
1. interest作为“兴趣”讲时用作不可数名词，但可以加不定冠词。例如：
He feels no (not much, a great) interest in politics.
他对政治不（不太、非常）感兴趣。
He shows an interest in music.他对音乐感兴趣。
2. interest作“爱好；引起兴趣的地方”讲时为可数名词。例如：
His two interests in life are music and painting.他生平的两个爱好就是音乐和绘画。
3. interest作“利害（关系）；权益；股份”讲时，为可数名词。例如：
an interest in a business一个企业的股份。
4. interest作“利益”讲时，常用复数形式。例如：
put the interests of the workers before all else把工人的利益放在一切之首
5. interest作“帮；派；同行者”讲时，常用复数形式。例如：
the business interests商界
6. interest作“重要（性）；重大”讲时为不可数名词。例如：
a matter of interest一件重要的事情
7. interest作“利息”讲时为不可数名词。例如：
He lent me the money at 6% interest.他以6%的息借给了我钱。
