睡前简单小故事，第一则：《小金鱼》

I have nine little goldfish .我有九条小金鱼。

Eight goldfish are all orange and one is black .八条金鱼都是桔黄色的，只有一条是黑的。

I like the black one best. We call it XiaoHei.我最喜欢那条黑的。我们叫它小黑。

Its body is black .它全身都是黑色的。

It has two big and round eyes, a small mouth ,and a big tail.它有两只又大又圆的眼睛，一张小嘴和一条大尾巴。

Though it＇s very small ,it swims fast .尽管它非常小，但它却游得很快。

I often feed them and change water for them. We are good friends .我常常去喂它们，给它们换水。我们是好朋友。

睡前简单小故事，第二则：《中国熊猫》

A panda looks like a little bear.熊猫看起来就像一只小熊。

It has black and white fur.它的皮毛是黑白相间的。

It lives only in China, so it is called the national treasure of China and protected by the law.它只居住在中国，因此，它是中国的国宝，而且还是受保护动物。

We all see panda on TV or in the zoo.我们在电视上或在动物园里能看到熊猫。

They look stupid and walk slowly, but they are lovely and everyone likes them.他们看起来显得很笨的样子，走起来很缓慢，但很可爱，大家都很喜欢它们。

A panda is lucky animal.熊猫是个吉祥的动物。

We Chinese like it, and people of the world like it, too.中国人民喜欢它，世界人民也喜欢它。

Now there are China’s pandas in many other countries, such as Japan and the USA…现在许多国家都有中国的熊猫，如，日本、美国……

A panda isn’t a common animal, it is bridge of friendship.熊猫不是一种普通的动物，而是一座友谊的桥梁。

睡前简单小故事，第三则：《狗和它的影子》

It happened that a dog had some meat that he wanted to eat at home.一只狗衔着肉打算带回家去吃。

On his way home he met a river.在回家的路上他遇到一条河。

As he looked down, he saw his shadow in the water.他朝河里望去，看见水中自己的影子。

"Just look!"“看呐！”

said he to himself.他自言自语道。

“That dog down there has some meat, too. If I could get it away from him, I would really eat well tonight!”“下面那条狗也衔着肉呢。如果我把他的抢走，今晚上一定可以美餐一顿了！”

With this thought, he made a snap at the other dog's meat.这么想着，他就冲那只影子狗咬去。

And as he did, his own meat fell into the water.这时候他自己的肉掉进了水里。

So then he had nothing at all.当然他什么也没有得到。

Then he saw that the other dog had lost his meat, too.然后，他看到另一只狗的肉也没了。

“That is as it should be!?”thought he.“活该！”他想

“For I saw him trying to take my meat away from me.” “因为我看到他想从我这里抢走我的肉。”

By wanting to have everything, he has lost everything he had!什么都想要，却失去了原来所拥有的！
