【英语知识】look for和find的区别
二者区别在于具体意思，强调的重点不同。
1、look for 指“寻找”不见的或丢失的东西，还没有找到，处在寻找的过程中，强调的是过程、寻找的动作。
例句：
①People were leaving the countryside in droves to look for work in the cities.
一批一批的人离开农村到城里找工作。
②The child knelt down to look for a coin he had dropped.
这个小孩跪下找他掉的一个钱币。
2、find 指“找到了”，表达寻找有了结果，强调的是结果。指偶然间找到的东西，情况等，也可指找到、发现具体的东西。
例句：
①We guarantee that you will find a community with which to socialise.
我们保证你们会找到自己的交际圈。
②The police inferred that they found her behaviour rather suspicious.
警方暗示他们发现她行为非常可疑。
③Fresh prints of both girls were found in the flat.
在公寓里发现了两个女孩不久前留下的指纹。
